Glasses-free 3D technology
3D pictures are generated using parallax, by delivering separate images to the right and left eyes. With using any dedicated glasses, user can enjoy watching high-quality 3D images. To fulfill this requirement, Toshiba has implemented a distinctive "face-tracking" function and "Active Lens".

2D to 3D Real-Time Conversion Technology
With SpursEngine™, a dedicated image processor with advanced performance obtained from the multi-core technology of the Cell Broadband Engine™, Dynabook Qosmio T851/D8CR boasts 2D to 3D real-time conversion technology that let users enjoy high-definition 3D images produced from 2D terrestrial, BS and 110 CS digital broadcasts.
Toshiba's newly introduced "Face3D" and "Caption stabilizer" features make 3D images more natural and eye-friendly.

3D Window Technology For Partial 3D Display
3D Window is realized by the "Active Lens” and it controls division of the light brought from the LED panel. The panel will deliver normal 2D image when Active Lens are turned off and when turned on, the panel will deliver 3D images. And finally, the user can enjoy "3D Window" and 2D images revealed simultaneously on one display.
